School-Based Mentoring helps put the sparkle back in the eye of youth, throughout the school year. The mentors are volunteers who donate two hours per week in an elementary school.
Currently, we provide School-Based Mentoring in Wasson Elementary School in the DuBois Area School District.
The School-Based Mentoring program of Big Brothers Big Sisters strengthens and supports educational success. High school mentors, elementary students and their parents are united in the goal of prevention of problem behaviors.
