August 28, 2020(1 event) – Join Youth Mentoring at the 17th Annual “Shoot for the MAGIC” Sporting Clays Challenge. All proceeds go directly toward serving more children. Clearfield County youth, their families and mentors receive professional agency support to ensure child safety and high satisfaction in their 1 to 1 match relationship. Mentor recruitment is increased to secure mentors for the over 50 children who are waiting to be paired with a mentor. Supporting this preventive program is cost-effective, and yields significant positive impacts on children served! The cost to serve one child through Youth Mentoring is $3,766, probation - $12,000, foster care - $22,000!

August 29, 2020(1 event) – Workshops are meant for couples who are engaged or in a committed relationship (even if you’re not considering marriage). Couples are treated to free catered meals and a $100 Sheetz card while they spend the day learning skills that can help them maintain a successful relationship. Couples who complete the program and then get married will be eligible for a refund on the cost of their marriage license! |
